Job Title: Content & Social Assistant


Job Summary:

Social Style is a boutique social media and creative agency specialising in luxury, aesthetics and personal brands.

We are known for thoughtful strategy, elevated visuals and content that feels intentional - not performative. As the agency continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and creatively-minded Content & Social Assistant to support both our Founder and Senior Social Media Manager across client delivery and content production.

This is a collaborative, execution-focused role with strong potential to grow over time.

The Role

You will support the day-to-day execution of client content across social media platforms, blogs, and email marketing, while also assisting with creative projects and content shoot days.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both organisation and creativity - someone who takes pride in polished details, understands aesthetics and thrives in a fast-moving but calm environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting captions from structured briefs

  • Designing and formatting Canva graphics using brand templates

  • Scheduling content across Instagram & Facebook

  • Scheduling and optimising Google Business posts

  • Repurposing content across platforms

  • Editing short-form video content for Reels and Stories

  • Assisting with content organisation and asset management

  • Supporting on occasional client shoot days and content creation sessions

  • Assisting with light analytics reporting where required

  • Ensuring all content aligns with each client’s tone, aesthetic and positioning

  • Monthly/quarterly team meetings and co-working days

You will be working across a small number of carefully selected clients within the aesthetics, wellness and lifestyle space.

Who This Role Would Suit

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in social media marketing

  • Has knowledge or experience of lifestyle, beauty, health & wellness and fashion industries

  • Has a strong eye for aesthetics and luxury branding

  • Is confident using Canva, Instagram and scheduling platforms

  • Has experience in photography/videography for social content

  • Has video editing skills for short-form social content

  • Is organised, dependable and proactive

  • Has strong written English and attention to detail

  • Enjoys execution and creative support

  • Feels comfortable assisting behind the scenes on shoots and content days

  • Wants to grow within a small, high-quality agency environment

You do not need years of agency experience. We value attitude, initiative and creative instinct just as much as experience.

Role Details

  • Freelance position

  • Approx. 12-16 hours per month initially

  • Rate discussed based on experience

  • Scope to grow over time

  • Primarily remote

  • Occasional in-person shoot support may be required (travel covered)

  • Monthly/quarterly team meetings + co-working in Portsmouth (Hampshire)

  • Flexible working structure

  • 3-month initial trial period
